What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in the User’s browser and can read on subsequent visits. It is used, for example, to remember a preference or to find out how many people visit each page. This policy also applies to other browser storage technologies that work in a similar way.
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies are used by the website topmallorcaconstructions.com (hereinafter, “the Website”), which is owned by TOP MALLORCA DEVELOPMENTS AND PROPERTY CARE S.L. (hereinafter, “the Owner”), and how the User can accept, reject or delete them. It complies with Article 22(2) of the Spanish Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce Act (Ley 34/2002, de 11 de julio, de servicios de la sociedad de la información y de comercio electrónico, LSSI-CE), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the Spanish Data Protection and Digital Rights Act (Ley Orgánica 3/2018, LOPDGDD) and the current version of the Guide on the use of cookies published by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD).

In _ga_<ID>, <ID> is the identifier of the Website’s Google Analytics property. The WordPress cookies in the table, and any other technical cookies that WordPress and its plugins may use in the administration panel, are only set for the authorised people who access that panel; they do not affect visitors.
Technical cookies
Technical cookies are essential for the Website to work and to provide the services requested by the User: remembering their choice regarding cookies, serving pages correctly and keeping the people who manage the Website logged in. They are exempt from consent under Article 22(2) LSSI-CE and are not used to analyse browsing behaviour or for advertising purposes.
Analytics cookies: Google Analytics 4
If the User accepts analytics cookies in the settings panel, the Website uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), to find out how many people visit it, which pages they view and how they reach it. The Owner uses this information in aggregate form to improve the Website; it does not use it to identify the User or for advertising purposes.
Google Analytics is loaded through Google Tag Manager, a Google tool that manages the Website’s tags and does not set any cookies itself. If the User does not accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics is not activated and none of its cookies are set.
According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. The data associated with these cookies are kept in Google Analytics for a maximum of 14 months; aggregated statistics, which do not identify anyone, may be kept for longer. Google may also process data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR; Google LLC participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information is available in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and in the Google Privacy Policy.
In addition to rejecting them in the panel, the User can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on any website by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Map on the contact page (Google Maps)
The map on the contact page, provided by Google Maps, does not load automatically: it is only displayed if the User clicks “Load the map”. From that point on, the browser connects to Google’s servers; Google receives the User’s IP address and may set its own cookies, such as NID. The Owner does not control these cookies, which are governed by Google’s cookie policy and by its privacy policy. If the User does not click the button, Google receives no data and sets no cookies through the map.
How to accept, reject or change cookie settings
On the first visit, the Website displays a banner that allows the User to accept cookies, reject those that are not technical or choose by category in the settings panel. Until the User makes a choice, only technical cookies are used. Rejecting analytics cookies does not prevent the User from browsing the Website or using any of its services.
The choice is stored for six months, after which the Website asks again. The User can change it or withdraw their consent at any time, as easily as it was given, via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page, which reopens the banner, or via this panel:
JavaScript must be enabled to choose by category. Cookies can also be blocked or deleted in the browser, as explained below.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any use made before its withdrawal. Cookies that have already been set can be deleted in the browser, as explained below.
How to block or delete cookies in the browser
The User can allow, block or delete cookies in their browser settings. If the User blocks all cookies, some features of the Website may not work properly; for example, the panel will not be able to remember their choice. These are the official instructions for the main browsers:
